Bathurst knows how to party and our bicentenary provides a reason to pull out all the stops.
On Friday 9 October, a unique gala event celebrating Bathurst’s Bicentenary will be held in place of the traditional V8 Ball. The black tie gala evening will formally close official celebrations of Bathurst’s bicentenary.
With history at the heart of the evening’s celebrations the black tie gala will be aptly located in the grounds of the historic Bathurst Court House and on King’s Parade. Guests will be welcomed with music and arrival drinks on the front lawn of the Court House, followed by a sumptuous dinner on Kings Parade, showcasing the exceptional quality of food, wine, music and entertainment from our region. VIP guests for the evening include visiting top tier drivers from V8 Supercar series, and a number of political and community leaders.
